Changes to my study program

Hi everyone

Today I'm going to talk about the changes I want to make to my academic career and the infrastructure of the faculty. I really like my career and studying journalism at the University of Chile, but many things are not my cup of tea, like we don't have enough practical classes like TV, radio or Investigative journalism.

We have too many theoretical classes. I like them but it's every year, and I believe, the practical things are more important to be a good journalist. These theoretical classes are important for our formation, but sometimes they are superficial , so we don't learn too much. I think the career could be one year shorter.

I think we need to share more with our camarades from cinema to have a more complete formation. The workload is not so difficult, we have a lot of time to do other things, in my case, work a little bit, train and play sports.

The infrastructure is good, but it can be better. In winter the FCEI has leaks and the rain gets into the classroom and some of the rooms have holes. One of the best things about the career and FCEI is the facility to get equipment to make audio or video.

I would not make many changes, I believe we have good teachers and students, so we only need to put more effort sometimes.
